EUGENE, OR Carmen Graves, former Roanoke College standout athlete, competed in the 2015 USA Track and Field Championships at the University of Oregon in late June. Graves competed in the 3000m Steeplechase. During the preliminaries, she held onto 5th place until the 2200m mark when she began to fall back for the next 600m. Graves finished 10th in her heat with a time of 10:12.88. Unfortunately, Graves' time was 5.72 seconds shy of qualifying for the next round.
